Dr. Joe Hartman
A 1990 graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry, Dr. Hartman has been providing exceptional dental care to patients in the New Albany and greater Louisville area for more than 25 years. Dr. Hartman did his undergraduate work at Indiana University Bloomington. Dr. Hartman is a proud graduate from New Albany High School, as are his parents, grandparents, and his children. Committed to this community, Dr. Hartman has made his home in New Albany for the past 25 years.
To provide patients with the most advanced care, Dr. Hartman has taken advanced coursed in areas of laser-assisted dentistry, implants, periodontics, aesthetic, and sedation dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dental Oral Conscious Sedation Associate.
Dr. Alexa Walden
Dr. Alexa Walden was raised in Paducah, KY and attended college at Miami University in Oxford, OH. She decided to continue in her father’s footsteps to become a dentist, and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she received the coveted Pierre Fauchard Award for her leadership and academic achievement. After dental school, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Kentucky focusing on hospital-based dentistry and advanced techniques of general dentistry, including IV and oral conscious sedation.
Dr. Walden and her husband, Tom, have settled into their adopted home of Louisville with their dog, Dallas. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, traveling, reading a good book, and watching college sports.
